Thank you so much for sharing with us today. It was a great lesson for all of us to put more trust in our Loving God.

I approached Nancy about speaking to our women's group because she had done so last year, and did a wonderful job. So, I'd hoped she would accept my invitation this year, thankfully she did.
Nancy spoke on a difficult topic of "being wounded" and how very difficult experiences can lead us to greater wholeness, as well as teach us rich life lessons that we can apply further down the road. Her comfortable presence in front of our large group of women was a gift in itself. It was evident that Nancy was confident, comfortable and prepared.
Nancy chose to approach this topic in a creative way. She began telling us a story about a young girl who'd had dreams of when she grew up, and how over time as she did grow up, some of those biggest dreams seemed dashed and her heart was broken. It became evident soon enough that Nancy was telling her own story, but her style of communication allowed her audience to engage in the experiences of the "character" rather than the emotion of personal tragedy , thus giving us more clarity of her message.
Nancy demonstrated strength in timing, rhythm, and duration with her presentation. I am grateful for her and am glad to communicate to any one interested what an excellent job she did.

I have known Nancy Sturm for over a year and in that time I have been privileged to witness an innate ability to speak extremely well in a variety of situations.
As an active member of Toastmasters International, Nancy is required to complete a basic training manual for a Competent Toastmasters (CTM) award. This basic training includes learning to use vocal variety, gestures, eye contact as well as presenting information in a professional manner.
Throughout these presentations Nancy has proven to be resourceful, imaginative, entertaining and respectful of her audience. With each new assignment Nancy has given her audience solid information on a variety of subjects. She has opportunities to speak extemporaneously on a given topic and does so without hesitation.
Nancy Sturm is a professional with all the capabilities required for this honored designation. She is a valued member of Toastmasters and continues to grow and share her knowledge with the membership.
